Relax and enjoy the healing waters of an ancient sacred cave. Meet local Tanzanians and our musician friends who drop in most days. Join a jam session, and something beyond beaches: Cave Swimming, African Dancing, Drumming, and Zanzibar History. Kuza Cave is managed in partnership with the traditional owners in Kibigija Village.
10:00 am - Arrive at Kuza Cave, Swim in the crystal clear cave water. Enjoy the peaceful jungle. See archaeological artifacts from the cave and a timeline of Swahili history going back to the beginning of our story as humans originating in East Africa. 11:30 am. We are a social enterprise that supports local artists and musicians who often drop in for an afternoon of traditional African drumming and dancing. 2:00 pm – Finish.
